GO BLUE! GO BALD!

Make-A-Wish® Southwestern Ontario holds a Go Blue! Go Bald! campaign each winter, but you don’t have to wait until then! Supporters are encouraged to join in the fun at any time and organize a Go Blue! Go Bald! head shave, or a blue-themed fund raising event, in their school, workplace or community. Your support will help Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario continue its mission of granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Sunday is World Wish Day.

World Wish Day® is this Sunday – April 29th!  Exciting things are happening around the world in honour of this special day, commemorating the first wish that inspired the creation of the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, when seven-year-old Chris Greicius’ wish to be a patrol officer was granted. Since then, the Foundation has created more than 290,000 magical moments for children around the world. 
Celebrities Join the World in Celebration to Make a Global Impact! Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Cake Boss’ Buddy Velastro, internationally renowned photographer Nigel Barker, WWE Superstar John Cena, actress Tiffani Thiessen and host of the Daily Show, Jon Stewart, are part of a special group who have come together to raise awareness about World Wish Day® and the Make-A-Wish® mission! Share the Power of a Wish
