Jennifer Lopez has topped the Forbes’ 100 Most Powerful Celebrities list, taking over from Lady Gaga and beating out Oprah Winfrey. The 42-year-old rose up from the Bronx, New York, and jumped 50 places from last year’s list.  It measures power by income, visibility and social media presence. Lopez earned about $52 million over the last year, as judge on “American Idol”, releasing a new clothing line and an upcoming tour. Winfrey stayed at number 2, earning about $165 million. Justin Bieber remained at number 3 with $55 million. He’s become a serious investor with a portfolio including music streaming service Spotify. #4 is Rihanna. Lady Gaga is number 5 with $52 million. New X Factor judge Britney Spears is sixth with $58 million. Kim Kardashian’s at 7. Katy Perry’s at number 8. 9th place is Tom Cruise, while Steven Spielberg’s tenth. Charlie Sheen’s dropped off the list while his replacement, Ashton Kutcher’s been added to it.
