Sweet Harmony at the Aeolian

Shades of Harmony, London’s very own ladies’ barbershop chorus, member of Harmony, Inc., is thrilled to present Sweet Harmony - a showcase of a cappella singing in the barbershop style.

Afternoon concert begins at 2:00 PM, evening concert at 7:00 PM and doors open for an after party at 10:00 PM

MAXX Factor, 2011 Sweet Adelines International Quartet Champions, and Boston Accent, 2006 Harmony, Inc. International Quartet Champions, take to the stage!
Based in Baltimore, Maryland, the four ladies of MAXX Factor have been performing and competing together since August 2007. They have entertained audiences from New York to San Francisco. In 2010, MAXX Factor auditioned for the NBC/Sony A Cappella reality show The Sing Off. They were choosen from thousands of singing groups to be one of the eight groups appearing on the show! MAXX Factor accomplished their biggest goal in October, 2010, when they won the 2011 Sweet Adelines International Quartet Championship and became “Queens of Harmony”!  visit www.maxxfactorquartet.com

Coming to us from the North Shore of Massachusetts, Boston Accent is active in both the Sweet Adelines and Harmony, Inc. organizations.  The ladies of Boston Accent are Harmony Queens having won the 2006 Harmony, Inc. International Quartet Championship. They have also been named the 2010 Sweet Adeline’s Region 1 Quartet Champions. This quartet just loves to perform!  visit www.bostonaccentquartet.com

Shades of Harmony, under the direction of Bill Duncan, has competed on the international stage at Harmony, Inc. International Contest and Convention.  Actually they have done it twice!  The “Shady Ladies” enthusiastically spread the magic of barbershop music through their numerous community performances throughout the year while they avidly support the National Service Dogs for Autistic children.
