Harbourfest in Port Stanley


HARBOURFEST will take place in Port Stanley, Ontario from August 17th-19th,2012.  We will feature cruises and tours on the St. Lawrence II Brigantine Ship.  Opening Ceremonies commence on Friday, August 17th at 1:00 p.m. in front of the Wharf Restaurant.  The ship will be docked across from the Wharf Restaurant.

In honour of the 200th Anniversary of the War of 1812, we have the King’s Company and the Royal Scots coming.

There will be lots of other activities including the Worlds Finest Shows Midway, exciting food vendors, plenty of farm animals from Farmtown Canada, and face painting for the kids.  These events will take place on the Dominion of Canada property.  Why not bring the family down to Port Stanley and stay for the whole weekend.  Why not book a cruise on the Tall Ship, St. Lawrence II Brigantine or enjoy a free tour of the ship when it is docked? There are lots of places to stay including the Windjammer Inn, the Kettle Creek Inn and Inn on the Harbour.  While you’re hear enjoy great food offered at restaurants like GTs.  The Lung Association will be in front of Mackies offering activities on their trampolines.

The Port Stanley Terminal Rail will be open for train rides during the weekend.  Why not treat the whole family to a memorable trip on the train?
