How Many Phone Numbers Can You Remember?
How good are you with phone numbers? What if you didn’t have your phone handy?
I’ll admit that the only number I could come up with off the top of my head if my parents, just because that one never really changed. However, if you can come up with more than one you’re doing better than some people since a survey found about 33% of people don’t know their mother’s phone number. In fact 26% of people couldn’t rhyme off their spouse’s phone number. The reason is we just don’t ever commit them to memory anymore. Instead, the overwhelming majority of us (98% according to this survey) store a number in our phone, which is handy when we have our phone, but not so much when we leave it somewhere else.
Cee Lo’s multi million dollar lawsuit
Cee Lo Green was served with a multimillion dollar lawsuit over his failure to show at two concerts. The Cierra Management Group claim they paid $243,000 in 2011 to put on a couple of Christmas shows, but they alleged the gigs were never going to take place. They said the deal was only a scheme designed to finagle funding capital for concerts actually planned not to manifest. Cee Lo wasn’t accused of being part of the conspiracy, but he’s being sued for supposedly refusing to perform the shows.
Cierra bosses want a $14 million dollar settlement from Cee Lo. I wonder how much they want from the conspirators!
