As of yesterday, the Food Drive had collected 42 thousand pounds of food, compared to 40 thousand pounds this time last year. 60 per cent of the food collected is given to other agencies, including the Salvation Army, Daily Bread, and the Women’s Community House.
There is still time to donate to the Food Drive to help families and individuals from now to Christmas. If you didn’t make it out to donate earlier today, you can still give donations to grocery stores on Tuesday and Wednesday. Or drop by the London Food Bank, 926 Leathorne Street, off of Adelaide Street just north of Commissioners Road East tomorrow.
