After having his home on the market for two years, Ryan Seacrest is finally celebrating. Ryan originally purchased his Hollywood Hills home from Kevin Costner in 2006 for $11.5 million, who bought it from Richard Dreyfuss in 1995 for $2.7 million.
Ryan just sold it for $11 million. He took a loss, however it didn’t prevent him from purchasing Ellen DeGeneres’ estate for $37.5 million recently. His home theatre comes with a fireplace, an attached ensuite bathroom, and no less than FOUR different controllers located at various points around the house. With four in-wall speakers and two subwoofers, also ensconced in the walls. The down-side: pros say the fireplace’s location isn’t good for the screen, so close in proximity. And he can only watch 35mm film. He can’t view DVD, Blu-ray. That’s how the American Idol host wanted it.
