So, apparently, nothing in the world of Rock N Roll legends is sacred.
Want proof? Is the fact that that a pair of Elvis Presley’s pee stained underwear going up for auction in England next month proof enough for you?
An auction of Elvis memorabilia in Manchester will see the King’s gitch start at a bid of $15,000. The underwear was worn by Elvis during a performance in 1977 and they haven’t been washed since they were picked up off the floor of his dressing room.
We’re still not certain who originally picked up the underwear, so we’ll just call them “Sick F@#% !!!”
Um, what are the chances that someone who is twisted enough to want these will have $15,000?
In honor of Elvis Presley’s pee-stained underwear, let’s take a look at some other weird celebrity auction items…
Michael Jackson’s Deathbed
At the request of the Jackson family, this item was pulled from an auction which included a bunch of other stuff belonging to the late singer. The starting bid for the bed–which did not include the mattress– was $3,000-$5,000.
A John Lennon and Yoko Ono Autographed Wooden Spoon
Can you imagine running into John Lennon and wanting his autograph, but the only thing you have for him to sign is a wooden spoon? We’ll just file this one under “Uh, What?” !!! No word if this was the spoon with which Yoko broke up the Beatles.
Gary Coleman’s Sweatpants
When Gary Coleman’s sweatpants went up on ebay, the final bid was $40,000. Once it was determined that the bid was phoney, the next bid of $500 was accepted. The lucky bidder? Late night talkshow host, Jimmy Kimmel.
