Remember how crushed the Canadian Men’s 4 x 100 relay team was when they found out they had been disqualified from a medal?

They returned home with their heads hung low and feeling like they had let the entire country down. Our hearts went out to the team because, like them, we couldn’t believe that their medal hopes could be dashed simply because a foot touched a line.

Well, a 10 year Newfoundland boy with a heart of gold wanted to boost their spirits and wrote the team a letter and also sent them the one and only medal he had ever won in his life.

Can’t wait to see how the team responds!
