Life-and-death situations will bring out songs like “One Life” by Hedley.  “The band was faced with mortality, so it was one of those situations where we just found ourselves faced with real life, adult life,” said frontman Jacob Hoggard. “One of those moments where people wish they could put their life on pause…. But the reality is that you can’t do that. And we had a record to make, so we really found ourselves relying on each other and needing to be there for each other. Through that, we bonded in such an incredible way and, ultimately, we developed what this record is really all about.  The sun’s out on the cover,” Hoggard said. “And I think, ultimately, that’s what storms mean to a lot of people. No matter what life throws at you and how ill-timed it can be, even the worst storm has to end, and the sun eventually has to come back out. I’m sure there’s another one around the corner, which is essentially what it’s all about.”
