I’ve done it! That’s right you are looking at the first pepper I have ever grown! Okay, I can’t take all the credit…so far the “sharing” of the community garden with my green thumbed Aunt Lin has mostly been me on the lawn chair catching rays while she bends, weeds and waters….but I shared the cost of the plants…well I’m GOING to pay my share…I swear!
I have learned a lot from my Aunt Lin and a fellow community gardener named Eva. Eva is a master gardener and taught us how to spot “squash bug eggs” under the leaves of our squash plants. These little bugs hatch and dine on MY organic goodness…NOT cool. I’ve actually spotted a few and squashed them…haha…squash…get it?
I’d love to get any of your gardening tips, don’t want to lose my garden cred with Eva!
