Bruno Mars became only the 10th man ever to grace the cover of Playboy. He played guitar in the shot, while April’s Playmate of the Month, Raquel Pomplin, was at his feet. In the ‘Life on Mars’ article, Bruno revealed Jimi Hendrix is his inspiration, “I think he’s the greatest guitar player in the world… He’s the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place.”
