Now living in White Rock, B.C., Trooper singer Ra McGuire says he finds it “odd” people should continually focus on a short period in the band’s career – the four or five years in the late ’70s that brought us Trooper’s biggest hits – when there’s more than 30 years of history to cover. Ra says those hits, “have carried us through these years with an audience that stays connected to us, in one way or another. If they’re what keep that audience with us, we have to be very thankful for them.”
