The 2012 Billboard Music Awards finalists have been announced, and among new awards such as Top Streaming Artist and Top Digital Songs Artist, they are still giving away the usual awards, such as Best Rock Artist and Best Alternative Artist…though it is the same five artists nominated for both categories…and I’m not sure I’d consider some of them ‘Alternative’.  Check out the full list for yourself at http://www.billboard.com/bbma/finalist
