The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine have buried the hatchet following lawsuits and reunited after 15 years, on a new album due this year.

Heavy metal godfathers Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, better known as Black Sabbath are in the studio with Rick Rubin recording their first full-length since 1978’s Never Say Die.

Green Day has been playing 15 new songs live, including one for the late Amy Winehouse. Some hope it may mean a new album from them this year.

Madonna’s next album is due in March. Her first single Gimme All Your Luvin is officially being released this month.

Paul McCartney’s new album, My Valentine. is due a week before Valentine’s Day, with old-time music-hall standards and originals.

No Doubt  are expecting to release their first album since 2001’s Rock Steady.

In summer 2010, Rush released two songs from their upcoming 19^th studio album. Clockwork Angels is (finally) due in June.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will release their 17^th studio album this year, following the loss of sax great Clarence Clemons last summer.

Van Halen might release a new album this year with David Lee Roth, last seen on disc together in and on ‘1984’.

Guitarist Billy Gibbons says a new ZZ Top album is coming, the first since 2003’s Mescalero.
